The cookies I use
My website uses a small number of cookies, which fall into two groups:
Essential cookies are set by Squarespace, my website platform, to make the site work, keep it secure, and remember basic choices as you browse. The site cannot function properly without these.
Analytics cookies are set through Google Analytics, to help me understand how people find and use my website, such as which pages are popular. This information is grouped together and does not identify you personally. It simply helps me make the site more useful.
Managing cookies
You are in control. You can accept or refuse cookies, delete cookies already stored, or set your browser to warn you before accepting them, all through your browser settings. Each browser is a little different, and your browser’s help section will show you how. Please note that if you block essential cookies, some parts of the site may not work as they should.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing Google’s opt-out browser add-on, available from Google’s website.
Cookies set by others
Some cookies come from the third-party tools I use, such as Squarespace and Google. These providers have their own privacy and cookie policies, which explain how they use them. I would encourage you to read those if you would like the full detail.
Changes to this policy
If the cookies I use change, I will update this page and change the date at the top.
